As the official branding and execution partner of the Samahang Basketball ng Pilipinas (SBP) for the official Logo Reveal event at SM Seaside City Cebu, Neocolors Productions and Advertising Inc. was tasked with taking the FIBA visual identity from digital renders to camera-ready reality.

Precision Pre-Press & Color Calibration
Before any fabrication begins, large-format branding requires rigorous pre-press and creative engineering. When designs are broadcast to millions of viewers and exposed to intense flash photography, standard printing methods aren’t enough.
The Challenge: Preventing lens glare, flash washout, and color distortion across different material mediums under heavy venue lighting.
The Process: Our team executed final technical layouts for all venue dressing assets, adjusting print DPI, color profiles (CMYK to spot color matching), and bleed settings to guarantee that every brand graphic appeared vivid and sharp both on-site and on live television streams. Color proofing followed, to ensure that the final output’s color is consistent with the expectations of the client.
Tension Fabric Systems: Glare-Free, Seamless Backdrops
Press conference settings present a unique challenge: direct studio lighting and high-frequency flash photography can cause unwanted reflection on traditional glossy substrates.
To solve this, Neocolors utilized tension fabric printing across the press coverage areas:
Press Conference Backdrop: Built using high-stretch, glare-resistant tension fabric tightly wrapped over a customized wooden frame. This created a smooth, wrinkle-free surface that absorbed camera flashes seamlessly.
Press Conference Table Branding: To maintain visual continuity, we utilized tailored tension fabric with custom sewing and edge finishing, ensuring a snug, professional fit over the media table without sagging or distortion.
Structural Centerpieces & 3D Fabrication
The climax of the event was the unveiling of the official tournament logo before key stakeholders from the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP), Cebu local government leaders, and SM Supermalls executives.
A flat, printed sign wouldn't suffice for a landmark moment. We engineered dynamic, high-impact structural builds to give the venue depth:
The Official 3D FIBA Logo Build-Up
Materials Used: High-density sintra board, precision-cut acrylic lettering/elements, and a structural wooden base.
The Process: The logo layers laser-cut for absolute dimensional accuracy. The acrylic and sintra elements were then hand-assembled and mounted onto a reinforced wooden foundation, creating a premium, tactile 3D centerpiece for the main stage.
Toblerone Floor Standees
Materials Used: Vinyl sticker graphics mounted onto sintra board.
The Process: High-resolution vinyl prints were laminated for scratch protection and bubble-free mounted onto rigid 5mm sintra boards, folded into stable triangular structural shapes (Toblerones) designed to withstand high-foot-traffic zones.
